Okuma's ITX Carbon Spinning Reel is a lightweight, compact spinning reel made of durable C-40X carbon fiber. The C-40X construction is 25% stronger than standard graphite reels, featuring a frame, side plates, and rotor design ideal for both freshwater and light saltwater applications. The ITX boasts a multi-disc, carbon fiber drag system with Okuma's Hydro Block gasket, ensuring water stays out and the drag operates smoothly. The high-performance 7HPB + 1RB bearings keep the reel running smoothly along with precision-cut brass gears. Additionally, the quick-set anti-reverse roller bearing stops the reel on a dime. The ITX reels are designed with Okuma's CFR (Cyclonic Flow Rotor) technology, which removes water away from the reel's anodized aluminum, two-tone spool. The 1000, 2500, 3000, and 4000 sizes come with standard reels featuring high-speed 6.0:1 gear ratios.
